I love that the argument in the last one is because the dog is in a sack instead of a bag. The conductor was clearly looking for any excuse to tell someone with a dog that it can’t come on the train.
The big dogs chilling in bags always makes me chuckle.

I tried to find a reliable source, but I think the rule now says “bag” and not carrier. Still, I think that last guy in the video is stretching it just a bit. That said, he does have the dog on his shoulder, while those with the IKEA bags do not.

That was my thought as well. He’s at least honoring the spirit of the rule as well as the people using ikea bags.

His mistake was trying to board the train next to the conductor. Should have waited by the last car. I’m sure he got on the next train.

NYC subways have people watching the doors every few cars, so it’s not quite as easy as just walking to the back of the train. But yeah, if they weren’t right there, I think they get on, and yeah I’m sure you wouldn’t find two consecutive trains with employees who both care in general, and care about dogs not coming on.
